Welcome to Vickie’s Important Pets, a service where animals really do come first.
Every Important Pet is treated with the individual love and care they are used to while their owners are away or require an extra pair of hands.
Prior to creating V.I.P I understood the juggling act of working full time and caring for my beloved animals... there never seemed enough hours in the day! Always wanting to spend every moment with animals and the outdoors whether rain or shine I decided pet care was the route for me.
I have been very fortunate to have animals around me all my life from our family dogs, cats, budgies, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits and horses that were part of our extended family.
Whilst at school every hour after school or in the school holidays were spent at our local riding school where my love for horses grew and I was lucky enough to have my first pony. After leaving school I worked full-time with horses and achieved the A.B.R.S Grooms Certificate and where I have continued my passion and experience ever since looking after my own horses and working at a livery yard.
My love for animals over the years has allowed me to look after all types of animals from house rabbits to horses and from chickens to goats which have all provided me with a lot of fun and fond memories.
Animals to me have always been treated as “one of the family” and I am here to help on a regular or on a “one off” basis when required.
